Is L.A. a refugee camp for Bostonians?

Perhaps it's just that I'm getting all amped up over my upcoming vacation (seven weeks woo hoo!) but it seems that I've been having lots of clients from Boston lately. Of course, on the west side, nobody is from California and there are lots of east coast transplants, but I've had at least a couple from Boston a day.

The only downer is that the Red Socks are away whilst I'm there, but hey, gives me an excuse to return. I try to go to cities with plans to return. It lessens the stress of trying to see everything at once. First time in NYC my friend literally ran from one spot to another. As I'm not (correction, I wasn't) athletically inclined, plus was sick as a dog, that wasn't my idea of fun. I split from the group and had a blast walking around by myself.

Back to my Bostonians. The guy who looked remarkably like Danny Bonaducci told me that Boston is a great walking around in city. I love that! I'm planning on walking and taking public transportation around. It's silly, but being from L.A. I totally dig being able to get around in a city without a car.

And after I get home, I can start looking forward to my anual trip to New York in December. I love travel!

I think I've gotten more ideas from my tour book, but everyone says it's a great city and I'll have a blast there!

I'm a history buff and loved the historical sites there, but rugrat of course had to see the fire station where one season of that mtv show was filmed, we had to eat at the pub whose outside was used for the cheers pub, things totally touristy like that.

Do the night time graveyard tour, it's fun.

Yep, walking is possible, long as you wear great walking shoes. But then, I'm used to walking all over NYC.
